Anton and Black of Bober Markey Fedorovich Join Area Nonprofit Boards of Directors
AKRON, Ohio (April 4, 2011) - Bober Markey Fedorovich (BMF), a regional accounting, tax and business advisory firm with offices in Akron and Cleveland, announces Vanessa A. Anton, CPA, manager has joined the Akron Zoological Foundation board of directors and Jeanine P. Black, marketing coordinator, has joined the Goodwill Industries of Akron board of directors.
Anton was officially elected to the Akron Zoological Foundation in January. She has been a volunteer for the Akron Zoo, including serving on the Summer Safari committee for the past three years, a role she will continue to serve in. She is also a volunteer for the Salvation Army ARC Council. With BMF since 2001, Anton is a manager in the firm’s audit and advisory department. She also chairs the firm’s career development committee and oversees continuing education and all internal training at BMF. She is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
Black was officially elected to the Goodwill board at the Goodwill Industries annual meeting on March 23. She has been a member of the Goodwill Fund Development and Marketing Committee since 2008 and will continue to serve in that role as well. In addition to her responsibilities helping coordinate marketing, public relations and business development efforts at BMF, she heads up the firm’s United Way annual campaign and Harvest for Hunger annual campaign to benefit the Akron-Canton Foodbank, among several other nonprofit initiatives. With BMF since 2007, Black is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
