Bober Markey Fedorovich Honored with Three Community Service Awards at United Way of Summit County Annual Meeting
Bober Markey Fedorovich received three honors at the 91st United Way of Summit County Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 30th at the Hilton Akron-Fairlawn.
The Young Philanthropist of the Year was presented to Senior Manager Danielle J. Kimmell. Danielle is a longtime contributor to United Way and is actively involved with many different endeavors, including serving as vice president of the board of directors for Project GRAD Akron, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and participating in Accounting for Kids Day through the Ohio Society of CPAs.
The Community Builder Award was presented to Partner Dale A. Ruther. Dale has been an active volunteer with United Way of Summit County since 1993. He has served as chair of the Audit Review Committee, a member of the Community Impact Cabinet, a member of the agency review teams, and is a long-time leadership giver.
In addition, the firm received The Chairman's Award for its outstanding 2008 Annual Campaign. For the past two years, BMF has had 100 percent participation and in 2008 increased their total donation by more than 13 percent over 2007 raising more than $42,000. Managing Partner Rick Fedorovich accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
