Director of Human Resources

We seek a Director of Human Resources who will be responsible for overall HR leadership and talent management. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment of top talent and development of retention strategies and programs;
  • Development of HR vision and performance management systems;
  • Design and implementation of training and development programs;
  • Evaluation, development and modification of policies and procedures;
  • Assurance of firm compliance with state and Federal regulations;
  • Serve as a member of the strategic management team.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills, experience and characteristics:

  • Superior leadership, organization and communication skills with ability to relate to all levels of a multi-generational workforce;
  • Outgoing and approachable with ability to motivate others;
  • Ability to work independently, with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm;
  • Ability to manage projects; attain results; good problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources required; CPHR or other HR certification preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years as a Generalist with a recruiting background; experience developing the HR function; experience with a professional services firm; up to date on HR practices and a working knowledge of employment law.
