General Info Karyn has more than 20 years in public accounting with experience in audit and sophisticated business advisory services for large, privately held companies with complex needs, as well as tax planning and compliance for businesses and individuals. In 2002, Karyn took on a leadership role in business development where she applies her practical knowledge of the industry, including 18 years with BMF, in executing the strategic direction of the firm along with the management team. Prior to her business development role, Karyn was an audit manager serving clients in manufacturing, wholesale distribution and nonprofit industries.
Karyn is one of the few marketing and business development professionals in the industry who holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. She is responsible for the firm’s strategic and marketing planning and implementation, new business development and public relations. She works closely with the partners in identifying and meeting with potential clients as well as ensuring current client satisfaction. Karyn oversees the marketing department and all related marketing efforts.
As well, Karyn plays an active role in cultivating relationships and developing resource partnerships with the firm’s affiliates in PKF International and PKF North America, both made up of independent accounting firms. In this capacity, Karyn focuses on best practices, international needs, market research and practice management in the CPA profession. She has also presented at PKF national conferences on a number of topics related to business development in CPA firms.
Karyn joined Bober Markey Fedorovich in 1992 and was promoted to manager in 1996.
